"What will miss me
when I die?"
And remember, that is the criterion.
If a person can enjoy and celebrate his death, that shows he has lived rightly; there is no other criterion.
Your death will prove how you have lived.

For the seekers on the path
This weekend 2-days Meditation Journey is an unique program of ShivaShakti that combines HeartSpace Meeting where we love and answer all questions from members in Day 1.
Following day is called 1day Meditation Camp that we practice Osho Active MeditationsTM along with our interactive sessions to deepen the understanding a specific topic that we love to work on.
Each time we bring specific topic to unlock the power to see within with love.
The theme for next journey is "What will miss me when I die?"
Let us explore together.
Course is given by English and Japanese.
What will miss me when I die?
This is the greatest koan in life. The moment you ask this question to yourself, energy turns from outward to inward.
We live in illusion. "I love people, and people love me." We have lived in this illusion for so long. And this illusion is necessary. Otherwise, life would become very difficult, so having illusions is neither good nor bad.
When Illusion Collapses
However, the problem is that at the last moment of death, or when you grow old, you suddenly feel, "Ah, I have lived my entire life in this illusion."
If at that time you're already over 70 years old, already 80, or death is approaching, the collapse of this illusion is a deeply piercing shock, and because of that shock, you want to forget all memories.
Dementia is not only due to brain shrinkage or physical reasons of aging. One of its major psychological reasons is that your life was just an illusion. All the experiences and events you remembered were ultimately nothing but garbage.
From there, we begin to hate memory. Because it is this memory that betrayed and deceived us. We think that if we remember someone, that is love. Or that if someone remembers us, that is love.
That is precisely why it is essential to explore the theme: when I die, what will miss me?
This self-inquiry has to reach our depth
When you enter the grave, who will miss you? And who will you miss?
When you die, what will miss you?
This is the challenge point to yourself.
Buddha says: There is only "no-self."
If the inside is empty, there is no one inside you. There is no one to miss someone.
And if there is no-self, there is no one outside either. All the people around you too— How can they miss? If there is no one outside you and no one inside you, how can missing happen? So missing is impossible, yet we feel it. This is the confusion.
We are not missing anyone, nor is anyone missing us. But certainly there is missing. We feel that way.
I miss something. So something must surely miss me too. We project our missing onto others. And if two people miss at the same time, "Ah, I miss you," "Yes, I miss you too." And they think this is love.
This is called the transmission of illusion.
But ask again: What will truly miss me when I die? This is the theme of this weekend's two-day meditation journey.
If your life has already passed 50 years and more, or if you want to understand this theme before the moment of death or before death feels close, these two days will literally become a turning point in your life.
